As an It Analyst (Technical Infrastructure) you will join the Logistics Information Services (LIS) - Technology & Compliance Services Group within PSLD. This position is one within a team of Server/Storage analysts responsible for designing, building, deploying, maintaining and supporting the Windows/Linux Computing, VMware, Hyper-V, Storage On prem and Azure Cloud solutions at multiple PSLD facilities. This analyst will also work with Server/Storage analysts on the enterprise network team to support some sites. Some travel may be required. Off-shift and weekend implementations/support are required occasionally.
Manage updates, upgrades, and other maintenance tasks in both hardware and software areas, to make the network more efficient, cost-effective, and secure.
Maintain the infrastructure of IT systems that support the business to function efficiently.
Design solutions by assessing and aligning the current systems to best practices and comply to federal policies and procedures.
