Attends all instructional classes conducted by management.
Unit preparation to include painting, cleaning, repairing and/or replacing appliances, plumbing and/or electrical fixtures, etc.
Retains relationships with peers and all other departments within the company
Preventive maintenance by regularly inspecting grounds, property, plumbing, electrical fixtures and appliances for repair, wear, and damage.
Assists with other types of maintenance when necessary and assigned by Chief Engineer or General Manager.
Is on-call for emergency duty when assigned.
Picks up trash on property by assisting housekeeping team in maintaining cleanliness and safety of the property.
Satisfies service requests throughout the hotel per work orders, following company procedures.
Maintains relationships and assists with guests, suppliers, vendors, and others serving the Company.
Reports all needed repairs to Chief Engineer or General Manager.
Maintains confidentiality of co-workers, management, owners, past and current guests, vendors and all outside contacts.
Clean and supply designated areas.

Is familiar with and gas turnoffs, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants.
Must be able to read work orders / service requests.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and experience in servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing a variety of items such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, standard appliances and pool maintenance.
Previous maintenance experience required.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
