The Planning Manager is responsible for the planning, scheduling, development of sub-programs/ tracking programs for construction operations.
Scope planning – specifying the in-scope requirements for the project to facilitate creating the work breakdown structure
Risk management planning - planning for possible risks and listing of contingency plans and mitigation strategies.
Procurement planning – listing of vendors and subcontractors.
Project schedule development, i.e. listing the entire schedule of activities and detailing their sequence of implementation.
Resource planning – to indicate the levels of resources based on productivity rates of subcontractors.
Preparation of work breakdown structure, i.e. into tasks and sub-tasks.

Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to relevant team / department.
Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
Experience: Minimum of 10 - 15 years of relevant work experience in building works
Possess a wide understanding of the building industry, including knowledge of materials, trades, methods of construction, contracts and legal requirements.
Attentive to details when checking work, technically competent and have good communication and presentation skills.
Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University
