• Prospect new sales leads through face‑to‑face and door‑to‑door outreach.
• Conduct on‑site consultations, present optimized solar solutions, and close deals with homeowners.
• Follow Sol‑Up’s sales scripts, strategies, and brand standards to ensure a consistent customer experience.
• Generate and track leads using company tools, complete daily reports, and meet targets set by management.
• Overcome objections, handle pipeline opportunities, and secure referrals to increase revenue.
• Maintain professional demeanor with prospects, clients, and colleagues.
• Meet physical demands such as lifting up to 30 lb, sitting, standing, walking, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Adhere to safety, quality and compliance standards, reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions.

Requirements

The company is seeking a motivated Solar Energy Consultant to join its sales team. The consultant will generate leads, educate homeowners and businesses on solar benefits, and close sales that help customers transition to renewable energy. Paid training, full benefits and extensive industry resources are provided to empower the sales force.

• Hold a valid California Home Improvement Sales License (or be able to obtain one) and a current driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate 2–3 years of proven sales experience, strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Benefits

Compensation is commission‑based, ranging from $40,000 to $200,000+ with an estimated $120,000 gross earnings per year based on 48 closed transactions. The role is structured as a 1099 independent contractor position.
