Delivery consultants & construction experts transforming visions into built reality.
We are expanding our team for 2025 and are looking for experienced Advisory Consultants. If you are interested in working with Mace, please get in touch.
Our consult business combines leading‑edge practical expertise with project delivery to unlock potential in every project.
We seek candidates with a broad, flexible technical skill set to complement our team, focusing on service excellence, continuous improvement, and product development.
Ideal candidates will have strategic advisory capability that can be deployed across service lines and sectors, with specialism in one or more areas such as strategy and investment, construction productivity, strategic development, asset performance, commercial delivery, or change and transformation.
Post‑graduate experience in offering strategic advice to consultancy clients is required, with the ability to work strategically amid high complexity and uncertainty.
We are particularly interested in skill sets and knowledge in business change capability, portfolio management, operating model design, enterprise risk, governance and assurance, transformation management, and major programme advisory.
Successful candidates will demonstrate excellence in client liaison, support business development and bid activities, and possess in‑depth knowledge of at least one property or infrastructure sector (e.g., aviation, rail, roads, healthcare, nuclear, utilities, energy transition, government).
Applicants should be adept at research, analysis, creative idea generation, optioneering, and delivering high‑quality presentations and reports. Digital savviness, comfort with uncertainty, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple short‑term commissions with flexibility are essential.
We value flexible, team‑oriented professionals who bring consultancy expertise across major project and programme delivery, align with Mace’s values, and collaborate creatively to generate strong ideas and exceptional work.
Mace offers inclusive, full‑ and part‑time positions with agile working from home and offices in Manchester or central London, requiring a minimum of three days per week in a Mace or client office and occasional UK travel.
We are open to discussing part‑time, flexible, and hybrid working options where suitable.
