This role is responsible for setting expansion strategy, building and managing the acquisition pipeline, leading negotiations, underwriting opportunities, and driving each approved deal through to handover for opening.
Define and continuously refine U.S. real estate strategy across priority East Coast markets and expansion clusters
Secure lease terms aligned with underwriting thresholds, unit economics, and return metrics
Maintain accountability for timelines, approvals, and clean handover into operations
Partner closely with development, legal, finance, and operations to move sites from execution to opening
Lead site feasibility analysis and investment underwriting in partnership with Finance
Ensure all deals meet return hurdles across EBITDA, IRR, and ROCE
Set standards around pace, commercial judgment, reporting, and execution discipline
Build and lead an in-market acquisitions function as the platform scales
Own investment committee materials, approvals, and capital deployment recommendations
Lead landlord negotiations directly; maintain daily engagement with brokers and ownership groups
Leverage data and analytics partners to ensure disciplined, data-led market selection
Build, manage, and prioritize a high-volume, high-quality acquisition pipeline
Identify white space, trade areas, competitor density, and rollout sequencing

Deep familiarity with Northeast / NYC-area retail real estate, leasing norms, and broker ecosystems
