- Must possess excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, judgment and decision making, and complex problem solving skills
- Post offer drug screen and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Group, LLC. Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
- Analytical procedures (SOPs), operation and troubleshooting laboratory instruments and equipment (GC, HPLC, viscometer, densitometer, particle size analyzer, pH meter, titration), good housekeeping and laboratory practices, QA/QC procedures, SPC, and computer operation.
- Minimum four-year college degree with science major (chemistry degree desired), or high school diploma with minimum of 5 years industrial QC laboratory experience and knowledge of instrumentation.
- May be required to have working knowledge of desktop computer software for the development and use of spreadsheets, presentations, reports, and databases
- Laboratory equipment operation and instrumentation troubleshooting skills, project planning, proper documentation, effective communication, basic math, use of Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of GC and HPLC instruments, using Chromeleon and Sample Manager (LIMs) software are a plus
