Description

As an Estimator, you will evaluate and prepare accurate, comprehensive estimates for a wide range of commercial roofing systems, while managing client relationships and ensuring proposals meet industry standards and safety regulations.

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects, including labor, materials, equipment, site visits and overhead costs
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with national clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service
• Ensure all estimates align with industry standards and best practices, maintaining high quality and accuracy in every proposal
• Adhere to and promote safety standards and regulations, ensuring estimates reflect a commitment to safe work practices
• Stay current with industry trends, pricing, and advancements in roofing systems to provide competitive and up‑to‑date estimates
• Engage in continuous learning and professional growth opportunities to stay ahead in the industry and contribute innovative solutions to the team
• Work closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure all project specifications and requirements are met

Requirements

Are you an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator ready to lead projects from bid to closeout? This full‑time role reports daily to the Westford, MA office, Monday through Friday, and requires a minimum of five years of dedicated commercial roofing estimating experience; residential‑only experience will not be considered.

• Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of all commercial roofing systems (e.g., built‑up, modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC) and manufacturers to provide well‑rounded solutions
• 5 years of experience in commercial roofing estimation, with a strong track record of working with clients; equivalent education and experience may be considered
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design, installation code compliance, warranty requirements, and industry standards
• Proficient with database estimating digitizer computerized estimating software; Edge Estimating Software experience highly preferred
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to provide precise and competitive estimates
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
• Ability to provide clear instructions and effectively explain problems or situations
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
