Proficiency in CAD programs, such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, in direct use and managing CAD drafting.

4+ years of railroad signal design experience.
Ability to work overtime and travel (up to 5% of time) as-needed to meet deadlines or visit field sites.
Computer-aided design (CAD) understanding to direct project submittal formatting and plotting to client requirements.
Ability to earn EIT and PE license required, if not already certified/licensed.
Bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronic, Computer or related engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university.
Active involvement in design for Class 1, short line & regional, commuter, and/or transit railroads.
Experience with railroad programmable logic controllers, such as ElectrologIXS, Microlok, XP4, and Grade Crossing Predictors, will be a distinguishing factor.
