In this role you will test, inspect, and support fuel system compliance at retail, commercial, and private fueling facilities. You will conduct fuel containment, equipment integrity, and leak‑detection testing, document results with basic calibration tools, and communicate findings and corrective actions to internal teams and customers. The position is suited for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands‑on work and independent travel.
- Perform fuel containment, equipment integrity, and leak-detection testing
- Identify leaks and compliance issues to prevent environmental or equipment failures
- Complete petroleum support work orders accurately and efficiently
- Document test results using basic calibration tools
- Communicate findings and corrective procedures clearly to company partners and customers

- Travel approximately two weeks per month (home on weekends; hotel and per diem provided)
- Mechanical aptitude; experience with hand tools preferred
- Background in trades or industrial/commercial environments is a plus
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Physically able to lift 10–50 lbs and perform tasks such as kneeling, bending, reaching, and standing
- Must pass a company-paid DOT physical and drug screen
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
Benefits
The Fuel Compliance Technician role is based in Plymouth Meeting, Allentown, and Bethlehem, PA, with a traveling schedule of approximately two weeks per month away from home and weekends spent at home. The position offers $18.00 per hour plus overtime (average 12‑15 hours weekly at time‑and‑half), a $50 per‑day non‑taxable per‑diem when traveling, and company‑covered lodging. Full‑time hours, frequent travel, and projected start dates of January 26 or February 2 are provided.
A dedicated VA On‑The‑Job Training program is available for eligible veterans, offering a two‑year vocational training path, GI‑Bill eligibility, and a monthly stipend from the VA while acquiring new civilian skills.
