In this role you will maintain a variety of heavy‑equipment assets critical to facility operations, handling diagnostics, repairs, and preventive upkeep to keep the site running efficiently. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and safety of the recycling operations.
- Repair equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front‑end loaders, yard trucks, farm tractors, forklifts, and company cars
- Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic, motor, transmission, drive, air‑conditioning, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance according to site checklist
- Complete paperwork and administrative tasks including work orders, card files, PM checklists, and oil samples
- Service and maintain auxiliary equipment like light plants, water pumps, welders, etc.
- Work independently and take accountability for quality of work

- Work performed both indoors (garage, shop, gas plant) and outdoors in inclement conditions
