The Senior Accountant will be responsible for daily transaction recording and month‑end financial preparation for a multi‑entity organization. Key duties include preparing consolidated financial statements, managing intercompany transactions, and executing comprehensive month‑end close processes such as reconciliations, accruals, and equity roll‑forwards. The accountant will also prepare financials for special‑purpose entities, support audit activities, and assist with project financing documentation. Additionally, the role involves overseeing tax filings across multiple states and mentoring junior staff while handling ad‑hoc projects.

- Prepare financials for special‑purpose entities such as developer, construction, operating, tax‑equity, and sale/lease‑back entities
- Provide audit support and document accounting processes
- Support project financing activities with financial schedules, cost‑to‑date tracking, and funding documentation
- Prepare and review monthly sales and use tax filings across multiple states; assist with annual corporate tax filings
- Coach and review work of junior accounting staff; undertake ad‑hoc assignments and special projects

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, with CPA certification or public‑accounting experience preferred. The ideal applicant has 3‑5 years of accounting experience—preferably in energy, construction, or real‑estate development—and proven expertise in multi‑entity accounting, consolidations, and intercompany processes. Strong technical skills in accounting systems, ERP platforms (Sage Intacct a plus), Microsoft Office, and intermediate Excel functions, combined with excellent communication and organizational abilities, are required.
