CTQP Certification in Asphalt, Concrete, Earthwork, pile driving and drilled shafts are required.
Ability to utilize survey equipment to verify field measurements and survey grades during construction, including but not limited to the use of GPS Rovers and Base system, to provide real-time feedback as to whether construction services meet project requirements.
Working in inclement weather conditions
Repetitive bending/lifting to include overhead
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identify discrepancies and/or conflicts, solve problems and develop documentation.
Ability to accomplish goals with minimal supervision and work within a team focused environment.
Frequent use of ladders
Must have two (2) years of related experience in construction inspection; one (1) year of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection.
Understanding of FDOT construction project administration methods and processes including but not limited to training in MAC, BlueBeam, Hummingbird and Site Manager programs.
