The Interconnection Sales Specialist (ICSS) drives digital revenue growth by accelerating adoption of Equinix Fabric, Fabric Cloud Router, and Network Edge across new and existing accounts. The role collaborates closely with Sales Account Executives, Solution Architects, and Technical Account Managers to deliver the full value of Equinix’s digital services portfolio.
Key responsibilities include developing deep product expertise, building digital pursuit strategies with account teams, nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, and conducting territory and account planning to generate pipeline and achieve sales targets. The specialist also performs solution selling, presales feasibility assessments, and coordinates resources such as architects, TAMs, and marketing to support the sales cycle.
Qualifications require a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred) and at least seven years of experience selling enterprise and cloud solutions, including infrastructure‑as‑a‑service. Candidates must understand the business challenges driving digital transformation and possess strong technical sales and account management skills.
