Act as liaison to design staff to respond to Contractors’ RFI's and review of shop drawings.
Exerts influence over and maintain excellent relationships with Contractors to maintain project goals.
Monitors Contractor performance, quality, schedule, overall responsiveness, and effectiveness.
Manage office staff responsible for record keeping, general correspondence, compiling and drafting of required reports and deliverables.
Responsible for overall site safety, permit status compliance and coordination with other agencies.
Responsible for the technical supervision for the construction phase of projects. Various project types include large wastewater pump stations and water/wastewater treatment plants.
Responsible for supervising Stantec staff, including development of Management plans, tracking career progress, mentoring, advocating for and approving timesheets and training/development requests.
Provides technical review of construction plans and specifications and project changes for constructability and practicality.
Serve as the primary point of contact on assigned construction contracts, with primary responsibility for construction contract administration and quality management.
Coordinate with PM to manage the Contractor monthly payment process and recommends appropriate adjustments as necessary to manage the Contractor.
Manage inspection staff and the delivery of daily inspector reports in accordance with clients’ requirements.

Required software applications include: Adobe, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project. AutoCAD experience beneficial, but not required.
Be able to manage multidiscipline design teams, with minimal supervision.
Thorough knowledge of plant processes.
Must have good driving record and a valid driver’s license.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering and construction.
Familiarity with construction procedures and scheduling of work sequences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum of ten (10) years in a construction management role of wastewater related projects.
Understanding of industry codes to ensure compliance of federal and state regulations, understanding of new technologies and cuttingedge methods.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask.
Minimum of twenty (20) years’ experience on projects showing increasing responsibility.
Outstanding record of successful Wastewater Projects.
OSHA training/certification and Confined Space Entry certification beneficial (or will train, if needed for an assignment).
Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred but not required.
Licenced Professional Engineer (PE) preferred but not required
