Oversee all mechanical/electrical maintenance, PLCs, budget and staff at a metal‑fabrication plant.
Troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues in metal fabrication equipment and develops effective solutions.
Oversees, manages, and directs all maintenance procedures and operations.
Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
Manages the maintenance budget, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and safety standards.
Follows all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.
Programs, troubleshoots, and optimizes PLCs to enhance the automation and efficiency of manufacturing processes.
Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff.
Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
Coordinates work performed outside by contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Owns and promotes good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures.
Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.
Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
Coordinates with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts and equipment for repairs and maintenance activities.
Maintains and updates maintenance logs, records, and reports, documenting all maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce repair costs.
Strives to consistently meet or exceed customer service standards by ensuring prompt and accurate completion of service requests.
Leads a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.) applications and computer technology.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and PLC programming.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Experience with CNC machines, welding equipment, and metal cutting tools.
Familiarity with maintenance software (CMMS).
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
At least 5 years’ experience in the manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and managerial attributes; ability to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.
