Contribute to accounting systems upgrades and automation initiatives.
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Support internal and external audit processes by preparing requested documentation.
Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and U.S. GAAP.
Help maintain documentation for key controls and accounting procedures.
Maintain fixed asset schedules, accruals, and prepaid accounts.
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
Analyze account balances and investigate variances.
Assist in preparing internal financial reports and schedules for leadership and auditors.
Help reconcile opening balance sheets and standardize financial reporting processes.
Assist in onboarding acquired companies into the accounting system.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting or multi-entity industry experience preferred.
Collaborative and proactive with excellent communication skills.
CPA or CPA track preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
Experience in construction, distribution, manufacturing, or specialty contracting industries.
Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
Exposure to acquisition integration and purchase accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
Familiarity with intercompany accounting and consolidations.
