The incumbent will take full responsibility for tenders generated by the IN Operation Center, gathering inputs from engineering leads, project managers, SCM, contracts, legal, HSE, and quality teams. They will craft tender solution strategies, set target pricing with operating units, and ensure designs align with single‑line diagrams and equipment layouts. The role includes verifying technical data sheets for primary substation equipment, proposing optimized AIS, GIS, or hybrid solutions, and introducing innovative, cost‑effective approaches. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and have eight to ten years of experience in substation tendering and project engineering, with proven expertise in bid preparation and support. In‑depth knowledge of Hitachi Energy’s products and systems, as well as primary equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, and instrument transformers, is required. The role demands strong communication, interpersonal, and English language skills, a high level of ownership, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple countries. Candidates should be detail‑oriented, proactive, and committed to safety and integrity.
