The Role

Overview

Finance Administrator handling treasury, CAPEX, reconciliations and audit support

Tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for processing financial data and ensuring that all information is accurately entered into our systems. You will need to have a strong eye for detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude is also important, as you will be working closely with our team and communicating with other departments. -Assist with the monthly reconciliation of CAPEX data. -Assist with the month-end reporting process. -Assist with capital expenditure (CAPEX) requests, including liaison with financial institutions. -Assist with the Group’s annual and half year financial audits and other financial reviews. -Manage data and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. -Process asset disposal and asset transfer requests. -Perform monthly reconciliations of bonds and bank guarantees. -Assist with the preparation, review and execution of bonds and bank guarantees including liaison with financial institutions. -Assist with treasury related functions including daily payment approvals, calculation of cash transfers and daily summary of the Group’s cash balance. -Assist with tax lodgement requirements including income tax and fringe benefits tax. -Process invoices, purchase orders, receipts and other financial data.

What You Bring

-Mining or construction industry experience; (preferred, but not essential) -Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills -Studying towards accountancy qualification (preferred but not essential) -Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork -Bookkeeping/accounting experience will be highly regarded -Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills -Basic understanding of accounting principles
