Reporting to the Head of Commercial Property Management, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of properties across asset classes on behalf of multiple clients. You will also assist the Head in business development, fee generation and team management, providing guidance to junior surveyors and fostering relationships with Facilities Management and Client Accounting.
Key responsibilities include full portfolio management, proactive tenant communication, regular property inspections, health and safety compliance, preparation and monitoring of service charge budgets, collection of lease payments, lease event management, and accurate data maintenance. You will also prepare high‑quality client reports, attend scheduled and ad‑hoc meetings, and support business development through internal referrals and external networking.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, RICS qualified and driven individual to join a growing and ambitious business as a Senior Surveyor/Associate Partner in our Commercial Management team. The Commercial Management team is a fully integrated management offering based in our London office and works for a wide variety of landlord clients across retail, office and industrial sectors. The team collaborates closely with rating, leasing, building consultancy and residential management teams on mixed‑use buildings and portfolios.
The role requires MRICS qualification, extensive commercial property management experience, proven ability to set and monitor service charge budgets, and strong knowledge of landlord‑tenant legislation. Experience with TRAMPS or a similar property management accounting system, and a track record of effective communication and delegation to junior staff are also essential.
