- Develop and formulate cost-effective, technical solutions to client problems on assigned projects.
- Prepare construction plans, specifications, construction cost estimates, correspondence, and reports.
- Communicate and work with other project team members to provide quality service to clients to ensure that all documentation conforms to client/company standards. Collaborate with other groups across AECOM offices.
- Field work may be required on an occasional basis to support land surveyor and construction engineers.
- Apply proven experience to the planning and design of water resources projects including H&H modeling and floodplain mapping, stormwater quality modeling, flood control projects, stormwater treatment, site development, and transportation-related drainage design.
- Provide engineering review of stormwater and erosion control plans. Develop scopes of work and budgets for water resources projects or for water resources components of larger projects.
- Prepare permit applications and pursue approval.

- Masters Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM.
- Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required.
- BA/BS Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field + none or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
