You will lead the development of comprehensive transportation and mobility strategies within the city master plan, analyze travel demand and traffic patterns, and coordinate transport surveys, stakeholder consultations, and data collection. The role involves creating multi‑modal transport frameworks, integrating land use and transportation planning, preparing transport models, scenario analysis, and forecasting using industry‑standard software. You will recommend policies, regulations, and infrastructure interventions, produce high‑quality technical reports, maps, and presentations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring alignment with national, state, and local planning guidelines.
The role requires a graduation in Architecture, Planning, Civil, or Transport Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Transportation Planning from a reputed university, with at least 10 years of cumulative experience. Candidates should have technical expertise in urban transport planning, traffic analysis, and policy formulation, and proven experience on large‑scale city or regional planning projects.
Proficiency is required in transport modeling and analysis tools such as PTV Visum, PTV Vissim, Cube, and ArcGIS, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint for stakeholder presentations and Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop for visualizations. Knowledge of the Odia language is a plus.
