As a Staff Hardware Engineer you will be part of the Product Engineering team responsible for developing new products, improving existing ones, and maintaining them throughout their lifecycle, including feature enhancements, hardware fixes, and obsolescence mitigation.

• Develop new products and variants throughout the product lifecycle.
• Define engineering requirements, create test plans, and generate test reports in JAMA.
• Design and layout high‑speed multi‑layer PCBs for EV charging and embedded computing using Orcad and Cadence Allegro.
• Perform signal‑integrity and power‑integrity simulations with HyperLynx or Sigrity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to establish board architecture, stack‑up, and routing strategies.
• Validate board performance through lab testing, debugging with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, and hardware bring‑up.
• Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and support certification processes.
• Support manufacturing of prototype hardware, including PCB assembly and electronic design hardware.

Requirements

The ideal candidate holds a B.E. or a Master's degree and brings extensive experience in high‑speed board design, signal integrity, mixed‑signal and power‑electronics, as well as a strong understanding of embedded software development.

You should be capable of taking ownership of development tasks, driving them to high‑quality completion, and producing clear technical documentation while working with cross‑functional mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams.

• 8+ years (or 6+ with a Master's) of professional hardware engineering experience.
• Proven expertise in high‑speed board design, impedance control, differential pair routing, and length matching.
• Strong background with microcontrollers/microprocessors and interfaces such as DDR4, USB 3.x, LVDS, RGMII, eMMC, SPI, I2C.
• Experience in Ethernet switching (Fast, Gigabit, 10Gbase‑T) and wireless/communication protocols (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, PLC, CAN, RS‑485).
• Proficiency in mixed‑signal, analog, and power‑electronics circuit design, including RF and antenna tuning.
• Hands‑on debugging skills and familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscope, power supplies, electronic loads) and simulation tools (LTSpice, Pspice).
• Ability to produce technical documentation (hardware requirements, design specifications, test plans) and ensure design for manufacturability/testability.
• Knowledge of UL and IEC safety, EMI/EMC, and electrical grid compliance standards.
