The Forklift Operator is responsible for safe forklift operation to stack material, load trailers, and empty full containers throughout the facility efficiently and safely.
- Inspect forklift before and after use, confirming cleanliness of windows, lights, mirrors, and proper operating condition.
- Load trailers safely and efficiently.
- Organize warehouse material.
- Empty full containers and trash bins throughout the day in coordination with the supervisor.
- Monitor equipment condition continuously to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Report daily work assignments to the shift supervisor.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service and demonstrate honesty and trustworthiness.
- Follow through on schedules and resolve challenges as they arise.
- Adhere to company policies, promote safety standards, and avoid inappropriate risks.

- Obtain OSHA forklift certification (powered industrial truck) per 29 CFR 1910.178.
