This position is for a Distributor Account Manager in Singapore, responsible for driving the Schneider Electric, Secure Power Division (aka. APC by Schneider Electric) business through authorized IT distributors.
This role owns revenue delivery, inventory health, sell-out performance, and execution of strategic priorities & growth across the IT channel ecosystem; building strong relationships with distributor leadership, sales, product, marketing, and supply chain teams to deliver sustainable growth for UPS, racks, PDU, cooling, software, and emerging solutions such as AI-ready edge infrastructure.
- Grow business in key segments: SMB, Commercial, Enterprise Edge, and AI infrastructure.
- Maintain optimal inventory health with DOH (Days on Hand) in line with Business expectation.
- Manage day-to-day engagement with distributor teams (leadership, PM, sales, operations).
- Drive deal registration and partner engagement programs.
- Align distributors to global and regional APC programs.
- Monitor backlog, shipment timing, and demand patterns.
- Ensure readiness on emerging solutions including AI Edge solution.
- Ensure accuracy of statistical data (e.g Sales & Order).
- Develop Joint Business Plan & Marketing Programs with distributors.
- Drive weekly sell-out performance, ensuring momentum across priority product categories (Transactional & Edge).
- Conduct Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR).
- Drive strategic priorities: AI-ready infrastructure, edge computing, modernization.
- Expand active reseller base (ARBs) through recruitment and enablement.
- Support business initiatives and partner events.
- Deliver accurate monthly revenue forecasting including from both Managed and Non-managed partners.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets (sell-in) through assigned distributors.
- Maintain zero non-compliance incidents.
- Plan and execute co-marketing activities.
- Deliver regular product training.
- Ensure weekly inventory reports are accurate and timely.
- Prevent stockout of strategic SKUs and manage ageing inventory proactively.
- Strengthen coverage across VARs, MSPs, SI, retail/e-commerce partners.
- Manage special bids and approvals in compliance with policies.
- Ensure operational efficiency for orders, pricing, reporting, and escalations.
- Manage MDF planning, utilisation, and ROI tracking.
- Enhance distributors’ technical and sales capability.
- Coordinate with distributors and working closely with the team to convert opportunities.
- Improve distributor response time to market.
- Ensure pricing discipline and margin protection.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and a strong team player.
- Possess min. 5-8 years of experience in IT channel sales or Distribution management.
- Strong proficiency in Excel especially in Pivot table / Vlookup & CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce).
- Background in UPS, Data Center hardware, or IT infrastructure preferred.
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyse sales data, forecast trends, and manage inventory.
- Self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities in a demanding / high-stake environment.
- Understanding of IT channel dynamics and distributor operations.
- Experiences in working with IT distributors or channel partners ecosystem required.
