- Global Expertise, Local Insight: With a presence in over 40 countries, SMEC combines global knowledge with local understanding to deliver tailored solutions that meet New Zealand's unique needs.
- Experience working in an alliance environment, managing the interface between client stakeholders and ensuring designs meets expectations and are fit for purpose.
- Ideally the right Design Manager will come have a Civil or Structural background.
- Local experience successfully delivering Design Management capabilities on major multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
- High level communication skills to advise and guide project design development in a pro-active manner and to represent the SMEC design team as a valuable contributor to the project.
- 15+ years of experience managing infrastructure projects of >$1m successfully to budget and client specifications.
