The Superintendent will serve as Christman’s daily on‑site representative, establishing expectations for safety, quality, and performance. Responsibilities include reviewing design documents for constructability, developing site‑specific safety programs, and coordinating logistics such as traffic patterns and material staging. They will partner with the Project Manager, client, and trade contractors to create work plans, schedule progress meetings, and ensure timely execution of trade work. Continuous monitoring of project status, reporting daily progress, and resolving conflicts are essential to keep the project on track.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of five years in a supervisory construction role, OSHA 30‑Hour certification, and experience on projects ranging from $500 K to $40 M are required. Strong communication, problem‑solving, scheduling, cost‑control, and risk‑management skills are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, BIM, and Microsoft Project is also expected.
