Service Manager (Levels I, II, III)

Description

• Ensure safety practices and inventory management align with company standards.
• Leadership of the service team, fostering a positive work environment, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Oversee equipment installation, including gas connections and ductwork.
• Collect and respond to customer feedback to achieve operational goals.
• The Service Manager at Mobile Air is responsible for managing branch operations and supervising a team of 1-12 Service Technicians to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role emphasizes effective communication and collaboration with sales personnel to meet client needs.
• Train Technicians on maintenance and installation of equipment.
• Ensure timely and high-quality service for customer orders.
• Implement and monitor service processes to improve customer experiences.
• Conduct equipment start-ups, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate safety gear.
• Manage logistics for equipment pick-up, reconditioning, and storage.

Requirements

• This position may require working a rotating on-call schedule and being available for evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons. Travel may also be necessary. Overtime and double-time pay rates apply for applicable hours worked.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with MRP or rental software.
• 2-5 years of experience in the HVAC rental industry, preferably in management.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities.
• Preferred qualifications: Associate’s degree, 2-year HVAC certificate, or Universal Refrigeration Certificate.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational skills and independent work capability.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. safely.
• Valid driver’s license and meets DOT and MVR requirements.
• Customer service oriented with a mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
