Description

Preparing draft environment monitoring plans and monitoring mechanism plans in accordance with JICA guidelines if required.
Implementing DMRC’s environment monitoring at construction sites in accordance with conditions of contract for safety, health, and environment.
Reviewing EIA Reports, including policy and preparation of revised reports in accordance with JICA, EIA, and SIA guidelines if required.
Facilitating with prominent and competent manufacturers and suppliers.
Reviewing EIA procedures taken by DMRC and proposing necessary suggestions in accordance with JICA guidelines if necessary.
Managing the environment team deployed at the project office.
Assisting JICA’s external environment impact assessment committee.
Analyzing, approving cost implications, and implementing any new directions issued by any statutory authority from time to time.

Bachelor’s and master’s in environmental science / engineering
Mandatory experience in PMC /GC of Metro/Rail Projects.
Qualification: Graduate in Civil Engineering; 15 years in metro/rail/transport/large infrastructure projects in Environmental Management.
20+ yearsof relevant experience inmetro/rail/transport/large infrastructure projects
Minimum5 years of international experiencein similar roles
