The Structural Engineer will be responsible for assessing, inspecting, analyzing, and reporting on the structural integrity of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments in compliance with RERA (Dubai Real Estate Regulatory Authority) and Dubai Municipality standards. The role involves supporting technical due diligence, building condition audits under the supervision of the senior consultancy team.

Collaborate with Architectural, MEP, and Civil teams for integrated assessments.
Conduct structural integrity inspections.
Perform site inspections to identify defects, cracks, settlement, corrosion, and distress in structural components.
Present findings and technical recommendations to clients, project managers, and regulatory bodies.
Coordinate with RERA-registered engineers and ensure compliance with UAE Building Code and Fire & Life Safety Code.
Prepare Structural Condition Reports (SCR) and Building Condition Audit (BCA) reports in compliance with RERA and Dubai Municipality guidelines.
Analyze structural performance and load-bearing capacity where required.
Ensure all reporting formats meet RERA-approved templates and standards.
Evaluate the condition of concrete, steel, and load-bearing elements using visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
Support the preparation of Building Completion Certificates, Condition Audits, and Reserve Fund Studies.
Review as-built drawings, structural design drawings, and material test reports.
Recommend remedial actions, repair methodologies, and preventive maintenance strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation for regulatory submissions and client reports.

2. Technical Analysis

Familiarity with international standards such as BS, ACI, ASCE, and RICS for building assessments.
Knowledge of non-destructive testing methods and inspection tools.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Experience in Building Condition Audits (BCA), Structural Audits.
DM certified structural engineer.
Registered / Licensed Engineer with Society of Engineers - UAE.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, and MS Office.
Prior consultancy experience in UAE is highly desirable.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural design, inspection, or condition auditing.
