  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Kaizen, to enhance processes and outcomes.
  • Training & SOP Development: Deliver training and create standard operating procedures for new or upgraded packaging equipment to ensure seamless adoption.
  • Innovate for Excellence: Collaborate with manufacturing sites, corporate teams, external suppliers, and customers to enhance cold-end packaging equipment and processes, optimizing safety, quality, and cost.
  • Optimized Material Flow: Work with Corporate Engineering, KIE, and plant engineering teams to design manufacturing line layouts that enhance material flow and reduce operational costs.
  • Empower Teams: Motivate and engage team members to contribute their best.
  • Lead with Confidence: Inspire and guide teams toward shared goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Engineering, Purchasing, Product Development, and Operations teams to evaluate costs and feasibility for innovative packaging solutions and processes.

  • Think Strategically: Align packaging strategies with short- and long-term goals.

  • Prioritize Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by strictly adhering to safety rules and procedures, always putting safety at the forefront of every task.
  • Lead Plant Trials: Take the lead or actively participate in plant trials for new products, material changes, or equipment upgrades in the packaging area.
  • Drive the highest levels of employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforce.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Communicate Clearly: Articulate ideas and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Understand the Voice of the Customer (VOC) by identifying product expectations, addressing pain points, and uncovering opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience in project management and continuous improvement
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in packaging equipment design and automation
  • Computer skills in MS Windows environment; Moderate skills with Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to travel 35% of the time
