The Safety Specialist role supports Hourigan’s safety culture by ensuring compliance and promoting safe work practices for employees and subcontractors on job sites.
Candidates should have a BS in Safety and Health or equivalent experience, OSHA 30/510/500 and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications, and preferably 1–3 years of safety experience in commercial construction. They must understand OSHA regulations, possess strong hazard‑identification skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office, and be physically able to work on job sites and travel when required.
