Plumber

Description

• Liaise on an on-going basis with Supervisors, Managers and team members
• Installing gas/ oil boilers heating systems and associated pipework
• Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations, Policies & Procedures
• Repairing and maintaining heating systems and associated pipework / plumbing across client sites
• Respond to emergency calls for repairs and perform work as required
• Carry out general plumbing and heating tasks to repair leaks, Heating Faults and clear blockages within Commercial pipework
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
• Replacing pipework/ repairing leaks on faulty or old parts
• General plumbing/remedial works to heating systems and sanitary systems (including but not limited to: fitting magnetic filters, installing and maintaining boiler houses and their connections, fitting room stats, timeclocks and/or programmers, replacement of radiators, valves, two ports, three ports etc)
• Planned servicing / PPM checks on commercial sanitary systems and components
• Planned Servicing of heating systems and associated pipework / plumbing and sanitary ware across commercial sites

• Able to adhere to strict deadlines
• PASMA Scaffolding Training
• Up to date understanding of legislation relevant to the role
• Flexible, reliable, responsible, calm in a crisis
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Relevant ACS, OFTEC or current ACOP's equivalent qualifications
• CCN1, CEN1, WAT1 & LPG, CKR1 and HTR1, OFTEC (Permanent dwellings)
• IPAF MEWP Training
• Excellent communicator, able to convey information in a clear, simple and warm manner
• Positive attitude to private outsourcing
• OFTEC Registered
• Accomplished problem solver, ability to support proposal of contract reengineering
• COSHH Awareness
• Training in patient confidentiality & appropriate behaviour
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Completed recognised National Craft Certificate Apprenticeship
• Commercial Gas qualification
• Willing to undergo, and provide, training/coaching in line with organisational philosophy
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople
• Asbestos awareness training
• Willingness to work flexible hours, as required
• Full UK Driving License Experience
• Fire Safety Trained
• Confident decision maker under pressure
• Positive and supporting of organisational change
