Provide guidance and counsel to managers and Human Resource Managers on employee disciplinary and corrective actions to ensure consistency and equity while reducing overall risk resulting from an investigation or other issues, as needed. Guide programs of alternative dispute resolution through a successful completion including oversight of all adverse action including final written warnings and terminations.
Track and monitor trends in discipline and complaints; proactively develop guidance for managers and human resources. Provide advice and counsel to management and employees on human resource practices to maintain a positive employee and labor relations environment.
Assist with or facilitate all required training pertaining to dispute resolution and employee relations practices. Use Employee Relations Data Analysis to determine if proactive communication or training would benefit the organization.
Adjudicate employee appeals of disciplinary action through investigation of relevant data with managers Human Resources Managers. Provide regular reporting on appeals metrics and identify trends for proactive remediation.

Collaborate with human resource managers and business unit leaders to timely respond to employee issues and complaints. Conduct comprehensive investigations, following our case management and process protocols, into complaints or concerns. Operate as the primary investigator and case manager when issues have been escalated beyond the local management open door policy. Communicate as needed with the division leader, business unit management, human resources and legal, as needed.
Ensure accurate and complete documentation is maintained in a centralized, secured repository for all investigations and disciplinary actions. Maintain accurate timelines of all investigations and complaints/requests. These systems include but are not limited to our Case Management System and Legal Ticketing System. Ensure Weekly Reporting and documentation of guidance is provided to key stakeholders.
Responsible for creation, maintenance and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by Confidentiality and Privacy Standards, in accordance with Mass Regulations on Personal Identity Regulations and HIPAA.
