
Proven track record in equipment design improvement projects that enhanced fab performance or reduced cost of ownership.
Strong understanding of vacuum systems, robotics, process control, sensors, and automation interfaces.
Location of the job: Multi-location, candidate can work from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Vadodara, Mumbai or Pune.
Knowledge of system simulation and modeling tools for equipment design validation.
Experience collaborating with OEMs on tool design or customization.
Broad knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (etch, deposition, lithography, CMP, metrology, etc.) and their interdependencies.
Strong leadership, cross-functional communication, and project management
Exposure to smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or AI-driven predictive maintenance.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Science, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment engineering, including hands-on tool design, modification, or optimization.
Comfortable working with CAD tools, system schematics, and engineering documentation.
Experience with reliability engineering methods (FMEA, fault tree analysis, DOE, SPC).
Familiarity with fab automation systems and SECS/GEM communication standards.
