Description

The Casing Driller (Deep Foundation and Tie Back Driller) is a key member of the frontline team, responsible for drilling holes, monitoring condition, and leading crews in equipment operation and care. The role supports company goals by maintaining reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic. Work is performed outdoors year‑round, often in extreme conditions, and involves strenuous physical labor.

• Perform essential maintenance, including greasing, to keep drilling equipment functional.
• Communicate effectively with team members and superintendents regarding maintenance needs and project updates.
• Apply knowledge of drill upkeep and preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and maintain cleanliness.
• Complete precise drill logs and accurate as‑built documentation for each project.
• Meet daily production targets and adhere to blueprint specifications.

Requirements

• Operate safely in loud environments while wearing required PPE.
• Travel up to three weeks at a time across the Western US, with a 3‑weeks‑on/1‑week‑off schedule.
• Lift up to 50 lb and perform strenuous physical labor.
• Utilize welding skills and various tooling and drilling techniques.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and obtain a DOT medical card.
• Preferred: hold a valid CDL and possess managerial experience.

The position involves 100 % travel in the Western US on a 3‑weeks‑on, 1‑week‑off schedule, with an hourly wage ranging from $28.00 to $35.00.
