What you would be doing

Coordinate with RVP, sales representatives, customer contacts, planning and manufacturing to meet requirements of long-term blanket programs/agreements (commercial).
Provide availability, schedules, and delivery within established guidelines
Handle customer calls for product information, product availability, pricing, and order status
Provide administrative support with order submissions
Consult and collaborate with various departments within G&W, as appropriate, to inform customer of scheduling issues that arise during order life cycles
Provide timely customer service and assistance with inside sales/application engineering orders, inquiries, and concerns received by email, telephone, or personal contact
Interface with Production in order to provide accurate lead times and delivery schedules
Liaise with finance department to ensure timely invoice and payments where applicable
Expedite and track order activity from company warehouse and alert appropriate staff and clients of any potential issues through daily production meetings
Perform order entry of Inside Sales parts, send acknowledgments of placed orders to customers, track, process, and expedite to meet customer needs

Has 1-3 years business experience, either in Inside Sales or related experience performing order entry along with some quotations and sales tenders
Understanding of basic electrical terms and distribution systems
Previous experience in manufacturing environment and/or customer service role
Demonstrated proficiency in interacting directly with Customers and / or Suppliers
Ability to develop strong business relationships and work will all levels of staff, specifically interfacing with Production, Engineering and Accounting
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Technical Certificate / Diploma or equivalent mix of relevant education (e.g. 2 year Business Administration Certificate, or 3 year Business Administration Diploma) with proven Inside Sales experience
Excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of JD Edwards Software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as a team player while solving problems and multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
