Implement and administer safety program at each job site for all employees. Assist site management team in developing and executing site-specific safety program and activities.
Coordinate, conduct and implement safety orientation and training for manufacturing, field operations and sub-contractors.
Develop toolbox talks to field managers weekly.
Provide support in both field and manufacturing safety excellence. 50% field work 50% manufacturing.
Conduct, implement and coordinate job site audits to ensure company and regulatory requirements are being met and report findings to the management team.
Conduct or assist with major incident investigation and analysis.
Manage multiple contractor documents and pre-qualification requirements.
Report all field data to the EHS manager.
Conduct or assist with risk assessments
Record, monitor and analyze safety, injury and hazard statistics;
Coordinate OSHA reporting and posting requirements.
Contribute to implement the Safety Culture inside the company
Assist with the organization and implementation of project safety celebrations and recognition/reward programs.
Participate in and contribute to project planning and hazard analysis.
Document and track all safety violations, unsafe conditions, etc,
Leading multiple contacts and managing safety data for multiple sites.

Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Equivalent
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the Environmental Health and Safety profession
The ability to work in extreme temperatures
Thorough knowledge of environmental, safety, OSHA regulations and compliance;
Effective public speaking and presentation skills
The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
Knowledge in best practices and behavioral based safety implementations.
Ability to travel 50% of the time.
Certification in Health & Safety a plus (Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Graduate Safety Professional (GSP), Safety Management Specialist (SMS), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), Master Certification in Environmental Health & Safety)
Technical knowledge preferred
The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly
Warehouse/Manufacturing environment, working and walking around moving equipment and on concrete flooring
Ability to build partnerships (internal / external) and influence skills
Be open and available to travel when necessary
Detail oriented; sufficient to manage multiple priorities and project/task.
Proficiency with MS excel, word, power point.
The ability to lift 25/50 pounds occasionally
The ability to respond quickly to sounds
Knowledge of Safety techniques for: accident investigation, risk assessment, JHA, etc.
The ability to safely climb ladders
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven experience building relationships
