The Role

Overview

Lead multi-disciplinary transportation projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

Tasks

-Solve challenging problems and advance client goals. -Support project planning and funding processes. -Ensure work is completed as planned and scheduled. -Lead multi-disciplinary teams on transportation projects. -Design infrastructure, prepare construction documents, and conduct cost estimating. -Manage project task budgets, work plans, sub-consultants, and schedules. -Develop and manage project scope, schedule, and budget. -Maintain team standards and procedures, check calculations, and conduct QA/QC. -Mentor and support entry-level staff. -Initiate and maintain communication with key project individuals. -Oversee project quality and deliverables. -Lead development of graphic design packages, proposals, and presentations.

What You Bring

-Understanding of ODOT Project Development Processes (Design criteria, standards, and specifications). -Registered as a Professional Engineer. -Experience in business development, marketing, and sales skills. -Experience with Open Roads Designer/MicroStation/Geopak/AutoTurn. -Document and present work clearly and concisely to team and clients. -Must have an understanding of state ODOT design criteria, standards, and specifications. -Experience working on ODOT, ODOT LAP, and/or municipal roadway projects. -OHM Grad School -Experience working with ODOT and Communities, such as Cost and Scheduling Engineers, County Highway Engineers, City Managers, DPW, and City/Village Councils. -Working use of OpenRoads Designer.
