  • Effectively communicate with borrower/property manager to outline what repairs should be completed prior to closing
  • Generate income notice and prepare audit packages
  • Collect and organize all evidence of repairs for submission and approval by HUD
  • Assist Closer with preparing required warehousing documentation
  • Enter wires for closing into W&D internal funding system
  • Compare and verify all costs associated with third party reports ordered by W&D with W&D’s accounting data, noting discrepancies and obtaining backup for all deposits received from the borrower and invoices paid to third party vendors
  • Create HUD’s pay.gov documentation for approval, submission, and payment
  • Ensure data in WD internal systems is complete and accurate
  • Prepare, submit and follow up on any HUD refund requests
  • Verify Davis Bacon Wage Rates for all active HUD construction loans
  • Prepare escrow analysis for tax and insurance
  • Work with title agents to collect and verify wire instructions for loan funding purposes
  • Responsible for obtaining closing binders from W&D Counsel and ensuring all documents have arrived
  • Generate Ginnie Mae Assignment documents for warehousing purposes

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Attendance is generally required from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm local time, Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
  • Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data quickly, make decisions based on imperfect data, and take action in order to assist the team in moving its transactions forward
  • Willing to travel to company sponsored events, as required
  • Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word software
  • Become familiar with USFA and ADA compliance requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a professional, corporate environment
