Senior Electrical Designer - Resources + Industry

Description

• Produce high-quality drawings, models and documentation aligned with AECOM’s workflows and quality standards.
• Develop concept designs with minimal supervision and ensure safety and innovation are embedded early.
• Manage your own work scope, schedule and deliverables, including small project components.
• Identify and resolve design clashes by collaborating with engineering and drafting partners.
• Perform advanced electrical design and drafting using AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise and related design tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in electrical design and drafting for mining, industrial or heavy-industry projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise and MS Office.
• Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar (required).
• Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and guidelines.
