  • Leads the development of winning / high quality project proposals for complex projects
  • Monitors and assists with keeping team performance at or above the annual plan
  • Promote quality issues with all team members and ensure that the quality control function is effectively performed and embedded as a standard in the team
  • Act as the team representative and maintain good relationships with clients, project stakeholders, associations, government bodies and other entities
  • Accountable for ensuring appropriate utilization, workload planning and forecasting
  • Workload Forecasting and Planning
  • Is a discipline lead on projects with minimal peer/technical support required
  • Implements programs to improve the quality of service, products, and systems to meet client's requirements, and maximize the team’s competitive position
  • Has led a team / been the technical lead for high impact/responsibility projects
  • Leads a team ensuring members receive adequate training, support and development opportunities
  • Builds and manages their own key clients and monitors key pursuits/opportunities

  • Expert understanding of the sources of, and strategies for, reducing energy and emissions at building, portfolio, campus, and/or broader scales
  • Holistic understanding of global sustainable issues, including current leaders and best practices in net-zero energy/emissions and low-carbon resilient buildings and/or communities
  • University degree, college/technology diploma in Engineering, Planning or related
  • Experience in conducting research and analysis of climate change and sustainability issues as they apply to the built environment specifically
  • 8+ years consulting experience in building/portfolio decarbonization and/or climate policy/planning
  • Expert understanding of policies, practices, research, and trends relevant to the sustainable built environment
  • Expert understanding of financial assessment methodologies (LCCA)
  • Extensive experience building spreadsheet models/tools for building/portfolio/community energy/emissions analysis
