Overview
Founded in 1993
Year Established
The company originated as City Properties Group and rebranded as Weyland Ventures in 2016.
They assemble complex financing packages—historic tax credits, new market credits, brownfield grants—to revive challenging urban sites.
Their signature projects transform old landmarks into vibrant mixed-use spaces combining residential, commercial, retail, and cultural venues.
Standout developments include Glassworks Lofts, Edison Center, Henry Clay, Whiskey Row Lofts, and boutique hotels in opportunity zones.
They operate across the U.S., blending consulting and full-scale development through services like master planning and adaptive-reuse design.
Born in Louisville but active nationwide, their model fuses creative urban design with financial ingenuity to reshape downtowns.
Notably, they’ve earned preservation awards and national innovation honors for their work on historically significant urban assets.
