Maintain a safe working environment by aligning with corporate safety rules and regulations, and ensuring a culture of safety
Operate forklifts, manufacturing equipment, hand tools, and power tools
Perform operator preventative maintenance
Ensure that the equipment and process operate efficiently and safely
Verifying raw materials prior to use and throughout the manufacturing process
Monitor product quality followed with appropriate responses
Supporting and mentoring other Operators
Record manufacturing data. Use of database and reporting systems
Conduct all work safely while following the Mattr CS Safety program, procedures, and policies
Accept guidance, leadership, and supervision to achieve company goals. Ensure that any problems encountered are reported to the Lead Operator

This position will require a preemployment physical fitness as well as a drug and alcohol test
Knowledge and prior experience of power tools
Good work ethic and attitude with good mechanical aptitude
1 year previous manufacturing experience (preferred)
Comfortable working in a plant environment
Able to work at heights and confined spaces when required
Set up, run, and shut down manufacturing equipment. Able to understand the manufacturing production schedule
Able to work a rotational shift as required for business purposes.
Ability to meet pre-employment testing requirements (i.e. drug and alcohol, physical fitness, audiogram, and vision testing)
Basic computer skills
Available to work both weekdays/ weekends
Strong safety mindset
Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 20-50 lbs., bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
