Description

The Senior Analytics Engineer will design and implement analytics strategies, define and monitor KPIs, and create reporting frameworks that turn data into actionable business insights. This role works closely with data engineering, stakeholders across departments, and uses tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Jira to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.

• Design and implement analytics strategies to enable data‑driven decision‑making.
• Define, measure, and monitor KPIs for subscribers, solar assets, RECs, and operations.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to gather requirements and align analytics solutions.
• Build and maintain reporting frameworks and Power BI dashboards that communicate insights.
• Identify and analyze trends and opportunities within complex datasets.
• Contribute to data ingestion pipelines in Microsoft Fabric following team standards.
• Manage tasks with Jira to support transparent and collaborative development cycles.
• Oversee data quality, integrity, and security to meet company and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related fields.
• Expertise in KPI definition, reporting framework creation, and data visualization.
• Proficiency with Power BI and strong SQL skills for complex dataset querying and optimization.
• Experience collaborating with distributed, including offshore, development teams.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical teams.
• Experience building financial reports (actual vs. budget, SG&A, etc.).
• Background in energy, utilities, or community solar subscriber management.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based data solutions, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Business Central, Azure, Microsoft Dynamics 365, PowerApps, or related platforms.
