Project Controls Engineer

Own the schedule–cost–risk triangle across multiple projects. Build robust baselines, track real progress, surface risks early, and lead defensible delay/EOT analyses to keep delivery on time and within budget.

• Track progress, productivity, and EVM; run variance & critical-path analysis and drive recovery plans.
• Develop cash-flow forecasts and time–cost scenarios; issue early-warning notices.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions (FIDIC or similar), submittal schedules, and reporting standards.
• Lead delay analysis (TIA, windows, as-planned vs as-built, collapsed as-built) and prepare EOT recommendations.
• Resource/cost-load programs; produce S-curves, histograms, and executive dashboards.
• Maintain risk register and mitigation actions; ensure records are audit-ready.
• Build and maintain Primavera P6 baselines, weekly look-aheads, and logic-driven updates.
• Coordinate with PM, Site, QS/Contracts, Procurement, and Document Control to align milestones and deliverables.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in project controls/planning within the UAE construction/engineering sector.
• Power BI dashboarding, claims writing experience, arbitration support exposure.
• Solid grasp of EVM, resource/cost loading, progress measurement, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel (pivot tables; Power Query/Macros a plus).
• Knowledge of FIDIC (entitlement, notices, EOT) or similar contract frameworks.
