Description

The role involves reviewing engineer specifications, creating plate layouts, generating construction and shop drawings, and coordinating release packages. It also includes preparing anchor bolt shipments, plasma cut lists, cutting programs, radiography and weld quality documentation, and ensuring that fabricated components comply with approved drawings.

• Review engineer specifications and drawings
• Create plate layouts and construction release packages
• Prepare and ship anchor bolts to foundation subcontractors
• Generate shop drawings and detailed shipping lists for each project
• Develop plasma cut lists and cutting programs for tank fabrication
• Produce radiography and weld quality drawings and tracking sheets
• Verify shop quality control and ensure fabrication matches approved drawings
• Complete load checklists for trucking shipments
• Maintain clear communication with engineers, project managers, and shop personnel
• Apply organizational, time‑management, and computer skills to meet deadlines
• Follow PPE policy and safety programs, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lb
• Adhere to professional standards and detail‑oriented teamwork

Requirements

Successful candidates should have a two‑year drafting degree or equivalent experience, strong organizational, time‑management and computer skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, and shop personnel. They must be detail‑oriented, team‑focused, and maintain a professional attitude.
