Mechanical work is performed on various busses including Motorcoaches in a secure, well-maintained facility that ensures a clean, organized, and safe environment for our mechanics.
Conduct routine and preventative maintenance, including CVIP inspections; accurately document service records and coordinate parts procurement.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles using diagnostic tools; perform required maintenance, part replacements, and test drives/operations as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace; communicate effectively with team members; support and mentor apprentices, recommend training needs, and participate in company training programs as required.
Collaborate with technicians, management, and drivers to meet shop schedules and priorities while adhering to all safety, environmental, and HR procedures in compliance with OH&S and inspection standards.

Solid knowledge of Health & Safety practices, including OH&S regulations, with strong attention to detail
Class 1, 2 or 3 license with Q (Air Endorsement)
Employment is subject to a satisfactory background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) or a 4th Year Apprentice
Prior experience maintaining transit vehicles or a large fleet
Experience Work Order Management Applications
2–5 years of relevant experience, with previous work as a Journeyperson Mechanic considered an asset
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
CVIP (Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program) License, or a willingness to obtain one within the probationary period
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills

$45.50 - $48.50 per/hour based on relevant work experience & certifications
