  • Provide advice on the development of commercial frameworks and models that underpin strategic growth.
  • Conduct commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making and risk assessment for business development opportunities.
  • Lead the provision of day-to-day commercial support for litigation matters, ensuring strategic alignment and effective coordination across internal and external Legal teams, Finance, Operational Joint Venture (Op JV) partners, and external auditors. This includes managing complex commercial inputs, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and supporting risk mitigation and governance processes.
  • Assist the Commercial Lead in developing and implementing commercially driven strategies for disputes, litigation, and arbitration.
  • Develop initiatives aimed at preserving and enhancing the value of APLNG assets.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and risks across the asset portfolio.

  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Experience in commercial advisory or legal roles, ideally within the energy, infrastructure, or resources sectors.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Law, Economics, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Understanding of joint venture structures and asset management principles.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Clear and concise communicator with strong attention to detail.
  • Exposure to matters involving litigation, arbitration, or complex disputes (in a commercial capacity) and commercial transactions.
