Complete jobsite hazard assessment prior to initiating service and adhere to Daikin Applied and customer safety policies and OSHA guidelines
Download programs into commercial HVAC equipment and Micro controllers and analyze chiller trend data to ensure optimal performance
Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner
Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are always upheld
Maintain and inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks
Perform service of equipment including inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality including but not limited to chillers, fan coils, water source heat pumps, applied air handling units, rooftop units, cooling towers, and condenser tubes
Participate in available training through regional technician trainers, and off-site learning modules
Conduct warranty service application by independently inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality of all commercial HVAC equipment
Educate technical and non-technical customers on proper use of equipment, maintenance schedule, and operating manual usage
Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
Lead and participate in the rebuild and retrofit of commercial HVAC level units including the direction of apprentice level technicians through hands-on demonstration of the necessary steps
Perform intermediate and advanced independent diagnostics, troubleshooting, pipefitting, and brazing of commercial HVAC equipment
Maintain all required certifications and continue to develop new skill sets

Current first aid / CPR card
Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
Accepted as Journeyman by the union
Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district
5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
High School Diploma or GED
Member of local union or willing to join the union
